The Angus Barrett Saddlery stainless steel Western D Snaffle Bit features a barrel-jointed mouthpiece and independent movement in the bit bars. The barrel joint limits the nutcracker action of conventional snaffle bits and spreads pressure over a larger area.
This Bit has copper through the roller to promote a moist mouth and a relaxed jaw for the horse.
This is a soft Bit ideal for a rider who are looking for a direct feel and for young horses with a busy mouth.

The Bits are available in 4 inch, 4.5 inch, 5 inch or 5.5 inch.
We recommend the 4 and 4.5 inch bits for smaller breeds and ponies. We recommend the 5 inch bits for younger and smaller stock horses.
We recommend the 5.5 inch bits for average to large stock horses.
