    Job Position: Horse Training Assistant + Customer Service 

    Job Type: Full time 38 hours per week - 4 days per week

    Location: Orange NSW

    Job Description

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate horse person, who loves working with horses and people. The role involves spending part of the day working with a variety of horses and part of the day helping our customers with their enquiries.

    Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

    Horse Training Assistant

    • Handling, grooming, hoof trimming the horses and general horse husbandry
    • Feeding and checking water troughs
    • Exercising including ground work and riding guided by Angus and a prepared training schedule
    • Cleaning, care and maintenance of horse areas

    Customer Service

    • Answering calls from customers
    • Making calls to customers, and being proactive with potential customers
    • Responding to customer emails
    • Processing orders and payments in our e-commerce platform
    • Resolve customer queries
    • Review and action draft orders
    •  Management of our saddle pad orders from customer service, design and embroidery

    Job Requirements

    •  A willingness to learn
    • Experience working with horses
    • A clear communicator with great interpersonal skills
    • The ability to use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, with a willingness to learn our e-commerce software and other programming software
    • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
    • A team player with a growth mindset

    Job Benefits

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has a desire to be creative and a love for sewing. The role involves working with a range of raw materials including leather, canvas, felt and fabric. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with state of the art German sewing machines, including the latest in CNC technology.

    Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

    • Reading and interpreting product processes and patterns
    • Using a range of sewing machines, including those with CNC technology
    • Measuring and cutting a range of raw materials

    Job Position: CNC Machine Operator 

    Job Type: Full time 44 hours per week - 4 days per week

    Job Description

    We are looking for an experienced and qualified CNC operator. The role involves being responsible for managing and operating the company’s world-leading machine tool, the OMAX 55-55 abrasive water jet and working with a range of raw materials including leather, canvas, and wool. 

    Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

    • Setting up, programming and operating OMAX Water Jet Machine
    • Cutting all the raw materials including wool, leather, canvas, steel and aluminium
    • Operating Auto CAD operating systems to create new designs and use existing designs to cut patterns 
    • Maintenance and clean-up of the water jet machine on a daily basis
    • Ability to understand, interpret and operate from engineering drawings/specifications 
    •  Edging and Slicking
    • Operation of other CNC machines and plant and equipment in the workshop
    • Maintain a safe workplace environment and follow all WHS policies and procedures

    Job Requirements

    • A willingness to learn
    • Experience with Computer Aided Drafting is essential
    • A clear communicator with great interpersonal skills
    • Mechanically and practically minded
    • Ability to problem solve
    • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
    • A team player with a growth mindset
    •  Knowledge of manufacturing and design processes
    • Ability to work autonomously
