DESCRIPTION

The Angus Barrett Front Leg Strap is based on a design popular with New Zealand horse trainers. It is designed to go around the fetlock of a front leg and up over the forearm to hold the front leg up. Angus recommends it for young horses that tend to paw.

Maker's Notes

The Front Leg Strap is made from selected, heavy-duty, chrome-tanned harness leather. It features solid, stainless steel buckle and square ring.

The strap is designed to be wide enough to avoid it cutting into a horse's fetlock or leg and it is made from leather which will soften up with use, while still maintaining its strength. It is fully stitched around the perimeter and holes for extra strength.

 

CARE

Before products leave the workshop, they are hand finished by Angus and his team with a treatment that is designed to specifically enhance and protect that product.

With use, if the Front Leg Strap becomes dry, we recommend using a surface leather dressing, like the Angus Barrett Leather Dressing, to condition it.

We recommend that you do not use any oil to care for your Angus Barrett leather product.

If the Front Leg Strap requires cleaning, simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Please note that most leather products will darken with age, use and after dressing.
