#3 of 20 - One of Angus' favourite past-times is breaking and training young horses. In fact, our Christmas 'holiday' often consists of a trip to his Dad's where he's always been able to find sufficiently green and eager candidates!

So I guess it's no surprise that one of our best-selling, most successful products is our Quick Release Hobbles. It would be hard for Angus to pick a favourite product, but he definitely spends countless hours refining the design of his handling and training range.

One thing that I really admire about the process that he goes through is the fact that his focus is not only on the user's experience, but also on the experience for the horse.

The Quick Release Hobbles for example are designed not just to make it easy for you to get the hobbles on and off quickly and quietly, but also to make it less daunting and more straightforward for the horse. And of course, reliability is key.

So for this product we have spent years (and lots of travel time) sourcing the best possible leather for the job.

We use a seriously heavy duty, chrome-tanned harness leather from Europe, that is tanned specifically with durability and exposure to the elements in mind.

We then line this with a veg-tanned harness leather protective pad to help prevent chaffing or marking.
