Kangaroo Leather Wallets and Card Holders

You might not know that kangaroo leather is the strongest leather in the world by weight. This is because of the structure of the fibres in the skin which run parallel to the surface of the skin. This creates incredible strength. (Kangaroo Industry 2018)

Kangaroo leather can comfortably be split to as thin as 0.3mm. This superb strength and light weight characteristic make it perfect for everyday products that are handled regularly, in and out of pockets, on and off feet, a truly brilliant leather for when you want a thin, light weight, strong product.

We use kangaroo leather to make our leather wallets and card holders. We have combined quality design and craftsmanship with this unique leather to create card holders which are slim, light weight and incredibly strong and durable.

The Little Yarra is Angus’ favourite and the one that he uses each and every day and has done for the last three years. I checked with him earlier and today he has 10 cards, $120 cash, a sample of leather and two receipts in his Little Yarra card holder. It lives in his top left pocket every day and he doesn’t find it bulky or annoying.

Angus likes The Little Yarra because of the convenience. He can easily slip it into his jeans pocket, the top pocket of his shirt or the inside pocket of his coat. He also really likes the folding action because it keeps his cards hidden and super secure. Angus told me that if he is out and about on the town and he doesn’t want to take the National Australia Bank credit department with him he leaves those cards at home and takes his licence, one card and some cash and the card holder works perfectly either over loaded or half empty. “The Slip” is designed to hold your cards on the outside and cash in the small pocket in the middle.  

“The Slip” is my personal favourite. I like having cards exposed on the outside and easy to get to, and the little pocket in the middle to hold a few notes or receipts. It fits perfectly into the pocket in my jeans without being bulky. Perfect when I have my hands full and need to access my cards easily.
