The Angus Barrett Saddlery Leather Hobble Belt is made from heavy duty first-grade skirting leather, which we then shape around a solid brass buckle and two solid brass rings. The buckle features a stainless steel pin.

DESCRIPTION

The Angus Barrett Saddlery Leather Hobble Belt with Knife Pouch is fully stitched for extra strength and durability.

The knife pouch is designed to fit a medium, three blade pocket knife, like the old timer or our medium Robert Klaas knives.

The pocket knife pouch is made from the same premium leather which we hand-mould to keep your pocket knife snug and secure.

SIZING

The main strap of the Hobble belt is 1 1/2 inch or 38mm wide, tapering to a 32mm tail.

IMPORTANT: Angus Barrett Saddlery belts are based on literal measurements. The size given is the measurement from the tip of the buckle tongue to the middle hole.

To ensure an ideal fit, please refer to our blog post "What size belt do I need?" to help assist you choose the right size belt before placing your order.

CARE

Before the Hobble Belts leave the workshop, they are hand finished by Angus and his team with a treatment that is designed to specifically enhance and protect the product.

The Hobble Belt is made from a first grade skirting leather that has been oiled and is ready for you to wear. With use, if the belt becomes dry, we recommend using a surface leather dressing, like the Angus Barrett Saddlery Leather Dressing, to condition it.

We recommend that you do not add any oil to an Angus Barrett Saddlery leather product.

If the leather belt requires cleaning, simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Please note that most leather products will darken with age, use and after dressing.
