Quick Release Hobble Chain Set

The main strap is fully stitched for added strength and lined with a leather pad to prevent marking or chaffing. The pad rolls back on itself to create a smooth, rounded edge.

We recommend this set for training and use in the round yard or other areas where you need to take the hobbles on and off regularly and quietly. They are great for working with young horses.

The small Quick Release hobbles are designed to suit weanlings/yearlings.

The medium Quick Release hobbles are designed to suit fully grown Australian stock horses, quarter horses and the like.

The large Quick Release hobbles are designed for thoroughbreds, warm bloods and clumpers.

Before products leave the workshop, they are hand finished by Angus and his team with a treatment that is designed to specifically enhance and protect that product. We work to ensure that all Angus Barrett products are ready for work or show.

The Quick Release Hobble Straps are made from heavy duty chrome and first-grade skirting leather that has been oiled and is ready for use.

With use, if the hobble straps become dry, we recommend using a surface leather dressing, like the Angus Barrett Leather Dressing, to condition it.

We recommend that you do not use any oil to care for your Angus Barrett leather product.

Cleaning

If the hobble straps require cleaning, simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Please note that most leather products will darken with age, use and after dressing.
