The Angus Barrett Saddlery Leather Working Dog Collars are made from a waxy, first grade, chrome-tanned harness leather, which is durable and strong.
The leather working dog collar is made to fit a standard to large sized working dog, such as a kelpie, and has five holes of adjustment to ensure the correct fit.
The Angus Barrett Saddlery leather dog collar features a solid, stainless steel buckle and ring.
We can add a stainless steel name plaque on request.
Our Working Dog Collars are made to withstand long days in the paddock, rain, hail or shine.
Before the leather dog collars leave the workshop, they are hand finished by Angus and his team with a treatment that is designed to specifically enhance and protect that product. We work to ensure that all Angus Barrett Saddlery products are ready for work or show.
The Working Leather Dog Collar is made from a first grade chrome leather that has been oiled and is ready for your dog to wear. With use, if the dog collar becomes dry, we recommend using a surface leather dressing, like the Angus Barrett Saddlery Leather Dressing, to condition it.
We recommend that you do not use any oil to care for your Angus Barrett leather product.
If the leather dog collar requires cleaning, simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Please note that most leather products will darken with age, use and after dressing.
If your leather product needs to be stored in a bag, we recommend that you use a breathable bag, such as a canvas bag, not a PVC bag.
This style dog collar is 25mm wide.
Our leather dog collars sizes are literal measurements from the tip of the buckle tongue, to the middle hole.
How do I choose the right size leather dog collar?
The best way to pick the right size leather collar for your dog is to measure his or her current collar from the tip of the buckle tongue to the hole most used. You then need to match this up to the middle hole measurement on our dog collar to ensure that you pick the right size.
1st hole = 14.5 inches or 37cm
Middle hole = 16 inches or 40cm
Last hole = 17.5 inches or 44cm
If you are unsure of the measurements, please do not hesitate contacting our Customer Service team on 0408 980 896 where a member of our team will be happy to help you.
