Rope Halter

Angus Barrett Saddlery Rope Halters are designed to fit yearlings right through to a 16 hand stock horse.

These Rope Halters make the perfect everyday halter, and are also suitable for working young horses.

The Rope Halters are Australian made from double braided 8mm yachting rope which we guarantee won’t rot or break.

Maker's Notes

Angus Barrett Saddlery Rope Halters are made from 8mm Australian made yachting rope which is made from a polyester material. This material is UV and rot resistant and retains its strength when wet compared to some nylon materials which can lose up to 20% of their strength when wet.

This rope is double braided which means that there are two braided ropes combined into one for added strength. There is a core through the middle, and an outer layer. The double braid creates a low elongation which means that the rope can take a significant amount of strain before it fails.

Care

The rope can be washed in cold water and with a mild detergent if needed. Rope halters should be washed in water by hand, not in a washing machine, to prevent any knots from loosening.
