What is the white stuff that has appeared on my Swag straps?

In his latest video, Angus explains what he believes the white stuff is that may have appeared on your Swag straps or Ringers Belt. "It's the good stuff", all the fats, waxes and tannins that come out of the leather if its too cold". Its's definitely not mould so don't be alarmed. 

We usually see this on our products that use the heavy chrome tanned leather during the colder months and with a little bit of heat, it melts back into the fibre of the leather. However Angus is a little stumped as to why it appeared when he went to Dubbo the other day which is significantly warmer than Orange right now. He's got his heat gun out and is trying to work out why it happened.

He is visiting the German tannery next month while he's on a R&D trip, so he'll definitely get to the bottom of it.

There is no need to be concerned, as the leather quality hasn't been compromised. Angus constantly strives to perfect his product designs and the raw materials he sources.
