The pouches are hand crafted with first grade Skirting leather on the top side and an incredibly durable chrome tanned leather on the bottom. The skirting leather is not only durable it is wonderful to block resulting in a perfectly moulded sheath for your tool.
In true Angus Barrett style, the chrome backing has been specifically tanned for strength and durability and is the same leather that we use on our hobble straps. The blocked sheath is sewn to the chrome with a red stitch pattern. This feature not only looks great, but adds extra strength and durability.
The pouch is ergonomically designed to sit diagonally on your belt, making it easy to access your secateurs and positioning the pouch in a way which doesn't hinder your movement as you bend. The pouch will slide onto belts up to 38mm wide.
There is a feature hole in the back of the pouch specifically designed to allow the secateurs to lock into place and prevent them from moving or falling out as you work. The hole removes the need for excess straps, keeping the pouch user-friendly and a quick draw.
Hand crafted by the team in Orange, the pouches are pre-moulded, oiled and ready to be put to work.
Before products leave the workshop, they are hand finished by Angus and his team with a treatment that is designed to specifically enhance and protect that product. We work to ensure that all Angus Barrett products are ready for work or show.
Your Secateurs Pouch is made from a first-grade leather that has been oiled and is ready for you to wear. With use, if your belt becomes dry or begins to crack, we recommend using a surface leather dressing, such as the Angus Barrett Leather Dressing, to condition it.
We recommend that you do not use any oil to care for your Angus Barrett leather product.
If your pouch requires cleaning, simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Please note that most leather products will darken with age, use and after dressing. If your leather product needs to be stored in a bag, we recommend that you use a breathable bag, such as a canvas bag, not a PVC bag.
