The beauty is in the details, with rolled leather handles and French seams setting off this soft, full grain leather bag.
There is no raw edge on any part of this Tote Bag. Every edge of the bag is tapped down with a small hammer and hand-rolled. Even the handles are rolled right down to where they attach to the bag. The rolled edges set off the leather, highlighting its suppleness and showing off its grain.
The latest edition of the Annabella features an improved stitch design here the handles attach to the bag, and an improved top hem, so that the lining joins the inside of the bag further down inside the body of the bag. The leather that we have chosen for our latest edition has also been hand polished with a dyed wax, which highlights the natural grain of the leather and provides a more protective finish. And finally, we have added a beautiful, silver foil logo on the front of the bag.
This Angus Barrett Tote Bag is not just a practical, well-made carry bag, it’s also a classic beauty. A timeless bag, made from literally the best leather we can find and sewn up with passion and dedication to quality. It’s a bag that won’t date. Instead it will collect memories with you and stay by your side for years and years to come.
The Angus Barrett Annabella Tote Bag comes wrapped in a keep-sake Angus Barrett Calico Dust Bag.
Size Info: 430mm long x 150mm wide x 320mm high
These totes are made from an exceptionally soft, French garment leather. The latest run has been hand-polished with a dyed wax, which provides a more protective finish that will require minimal care and which is relatively easy to care for. Most spills can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, provided that this is done immediately before the spill has a chance to soak in and provided the spill is not from the inside out.
With use, if the bag becomes dry, we recommend using a surface leather dressing, like the Angus Barrett Leather Dressing, to condition it.
Please note some dressings may darken the colour of the leather.
