Our Annabella leather tote bag is made from an incredibly soft and strong, semi-aniline leather that we source specially from France. We have chosen to use this semi-aniline leather for this tote bag due to its hand polished finish with a dyed wax, which highlights the natural grain of the leather whilst also providing a more protective finish, making it resistant to things like spills and scratches.
The beauty of this bag isn’t only in the leather, but in the details. Every edge of leather has been hand rolled and tapped down, including the handles which have been finished with French seams setting off the beauty and texture of the leather.
Our latest edition of the Annabella tote bag features an improved stitch design where the handles attach to the bag for added strength, and an improved top hem so that the lining joins the inside of the bag further down inside the body of the bag, improving the longevity of the lining. The interior lining is made from 100% natural hemp.

The Angus Barrett Saddlery Leather Tote bag is not just a practical, well-made carry bag, its also a timeless, classic beauty that will compliment any outfit. It will stand the test of time. It’s a bag that won’t date. Instead it will collect memories with you and stay by your side for years and years to come.
These totes are made from an exceptionally soft, French garment leather. The latest run has been hand-polished with a dyed wax, which provides a more protective finish that will require minimal care and which is relatively easy to care for. Most spills can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, provided that this is done immediately before the spill has a chance to soak in and provided the spill is not from the inside out.
With use, if the bag becomes dry, we recommend using a surface leather dressing, like the Angus Barrett Leather Dressing, to condition it.
Please note some dressings may darken the colour of the leather.
