RETAIL MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced, hard-working and capable retail manager to join our dynamic team.  This person will be responsible for managing all sales from Angus Barrett's flagship saddlery store; online store; and the national, mobile Angus Barrett Roadshow.

We pride ourselves on high quality products and also exceptional customer service and we are looking for a manager with the skills to continue to foster and develop this high level of service.  The successful applicant will have the experience and ability to maintain existing client and business relationships, and also to generate new sales and opportunities.
The role comprises three main areas of responsibility:

1) customer service;
2) shop and inventory; and
3) sales and business development.

1) Customer Service
You will be required to manage Angus Barrett's extensive existing client base, the local Orange retail shop, the online store and the Angus Barrett Roadshow.  This will require you to deal and communicate with customers; attend to front of house duties; manage online sales; and develop and maintain the Angus Barrett customer database and customer communications.

2) Shop and inventory 
You will be required to carry out various administrative duties, to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the business' retail.  Your duties will include taking and processing customer orders; managing other retail staff; controlling and managing stock inventory; overseeing the correct and efficient dispatch of products; and building and implementing retail management systems and processes.

3) Sales & Business Development
You will also be expected to generate new sales and to work closely with the company Director and General Manager to plan sales strategies and to ensure customer satisfaction.  You will devise weekly and monthly sales plans; be involved in company marketing and advertising plans; implement sponsorship agreements and promotions; and assist with the planning and organisation of trade shows, exhibitions and logistics nationally and internationally.

Skills
The successful applicant will be capable of managing other staff, will demonstrate good team building skills and will be capable of juggling the various aspects of this multifaceted role.  You will possess superior planning and organisational skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook and must be able to demonstrate excellence in sales, customer service and business principles and practices.  A good knowledge of, or interest in, the rural, mining and/or agricultural industries will be an advantage, as will any qualifications in sales, business, management and/or operations.

LEATHER WORKER - EXPERIENCED SADDLER

We are looking for an experienced saddler or leading hand to help run our workshop and to work alongside Angus making our saddlery and leather goods. We welcome people looking for short-term or part-time work. No prior experience is required. All training is provided by us to ensure that we maintain our high levels of manufacturing.
